How to play Magnet Marble Maze

Don't move the marble. Move the force. Guide a chrome marble to the mint exit using a single movable magnet. This free browser puzzle works with a mouse, touch or keyboard, without an account or download.

  1. Press Start, then drag on the board to position your magnet. The marble cannot be dragged directly.
  2. Use Power and Distance to make gentle corrections. In Polarity Core, S attracts the N core and N repels it. Steel Ball is attracted to either pole.
  3. Reach the mint ring. Preview estimates the next moments with the current magnet held still. Rewind restores up to four seconds; Pulse spends energy for a brief boost.

Keyboard: arrow keys move the magnet; Space starts or pauses; F flips polarity; P pulses; R rewinds. Select a level, a deterministic daily puzzle, or build a maze in Maker.

A small physics laboratory

Ordinary ferromagnetic steel is attracted to either magnetic pole. Polarity Core instead uses a fictional constrained N-oriented core for clear attraction and repulsion. This game uses softened inverse-distance forces, damping and circle-wall collisions: it is a stable 2D game model, not an engineering or educational measurement tool.

Keep the magnet slightly ahead of the marble. Reduce power near corners and use distance to soften the field. The ghost path is conditional on the present controls, so changing the magnet changes the prediction.

Frequently asked questions

Why did my marble stop?

It may be pressed against a wall or the field may be too weak. Move the magnet toward the open corridor, reduce its distance, or rewind.

Are records and daily scores online?

No. Best records are stored only in this browser. Daily uses the same UTC date and level seed for everyone; no global leaderboard is claimed.

How do custom mazes work?

Choose Maker, tap grid cells to add walls, and test your design. The start and exit are protected. A share link becomes available only after you solve the current design. Shared data is validated before loading.
